Out of ideas for weekend plans with the kids? We’ve got the perfect solution! A full day out dedicated to exploring the beauty of Oman and learning more about traditional villages and farms. The day begins with a short hike around Misfat Al Abriyeen and ends with an exciting outdoor rock climbing session. Before heading back to Muscat, a stop over for a local lunch before ending the day around 4.30pm.
Burj Al Sahwa
Please arrive by 6.45 AM for 7.00 AM departure
The guides will meet the parents and drop off the kids in Burj Al Sahwa between 6.45am and 7.00am. Head off to Misfat Al Abriyeen.
The guide begins in the village of Misfat Al Abriyeen in the village. The hiking tour will highlight the features of traditional Omani villages. Continue to the farms and learn more about the falaj irrigation system.
After a snack break, the climbing activity begins. Kids can try outdoor rock climbing at the entrance of the village. Equipment and safety is overseen by the climbing guides on-site.
On the way back to Muscat, we will stop over at a local restaurant for lunch.
After lunch, we continue driving back to Muscat and reach Burj Al Sahwa around 4.30 PM. Please note that parents will remain updated about the times of the return as the day progresses.
