Welcome to Al Buraimi! We’ll meet at 3 PM in Al Buraimi and head straight to Mahdah to check out the local souq and around the town. Learn more about the people of Mahdah and their tradition and ways of life. We will have dinner in town before heading to our first overnight location in Wadi Al Sharm which is a beautiful resort tucked away in the unique mountains and wadis of Al Buraimi.
Breakfast will be at 8 AM followed by an easy 4km hike in Wadi Madbah which features a 20 meter waterfall – and if water temperatures are suitable – enjoy an abseil. Take a tour around Huyul and see the incredible Sulphur pools. After the tour, we enjoy lunch and continue with our tour around Al Sharia Al Sarani as we discover more about the hidden treasures of this governate. Overnight in Al Salam Grand resort.
Breakfast at 8Am is followed by an intermediate underground adventure in Sarani Falaj. This 3,000 year old falaj, once dry, has sprung back to life and irrigates the farms in the surrounding farms. Discover the secrets of this Dawoodi falaj in an adventure that takes you 20 meters under ground. Note: you can turn back around at any time if you feel claustrophobic. After this adventure, we bid farewell as we share one last meal together before returning to the meeting point in Al Buraimi.
