Khareef Dhofar Adventure

Touch down at the airport where CYR Adventures team will meet you and head straight to your hotel to check in. Once you’ve settled in, we’ll kick off your adventure with a guided tour of some amazing local spots like Ain Athoum, Ain Tabraq, and the stunning mountain views. After soaking in the sights, we’ll treat you to a delicious lunch at a local restaurant. Finally, you’ll head back to the hotel to relax and unwind after an exciting day.

On the second day, we’ll start early by checking out of the hotel at 8:30 AM and heading to Wadi Darbat. Here, you’ll enjoy a light hike covering a distance of 6 km over about 4 hours. Along the way, you’ll have the chance to partake in activities like kayaking and boat rides. We’ll also have a delightful lunch amidst the scenic khareef beauty. After our adventure-filled day, you’ll head back to the hotel to relax and recharge.

 We’ll check out of the hotel at 8:30 AM and head to the scenic overlook at Wadi Darbat. From there, we’ll visit the fascinating Tawi Atayr Sinkhole Cave. Our journey will continue to the highest peak in Dhofar, Jebel Samhan, where you can marvel at the clouds below the mountain. Next, we’ll go to Ain Hashir to see the impressive baobab trees, with only 200 of these giant trees in the Sultanate, originally from African forests. Swimming here is optional. Afterward, we’ll enjoy a delicious lunch before heading back to the hotel to relax.

Check out of the hotel at 10 AM and head to Western Dhofar, starting with a visit to Shaat and then Fazayah. We’ll explore the famous frankincense trees before heading to the beautiful Mughsail Beach. After taking in the stunning coastal views, we’ll enjoy lunch at Madhabi Bin Amer. Finally, we’ll return to the hotel to relax and unwind after another exciting day of adventure.

Check out of the hotel at 10 AM and begin our tour with a visit to Ain Razat and Ain Sahnout. Next, we’ll explore Jebel Sheer, followed by a delicious lunch in Salalah. After lunch, we’ll visit the Tomb of Prophet Ayub. Finally, we’ll head back to the hotel to relax and reflect on the day’s experiences.

On the final day of this amazing adventure, we check out of the hotel and start our day with a visit to the local market, where you can buy your souvenirs and gifts. Next, we’ll explore the Land of Frankincense Museum, followed by visits to various tourist attractions in the region. After a morning of cultural immersion and sightseeing, you will be dropped off to the airport for your departure.
