Starting early, we hike through the farms of Umq village to get further into the canyon. We swim through a sequence of pools until we reach the Cave – which marks approximately the halfway distance. We abseil and continue following the canyon which leads us to its exit – Wadi Mibam Village. This spectacular canyon has it all; swimming, jumping, hiking, climbing and abseiling!
Al Amarat
Please arrive by 5.00pm for a 5.30pm departure
Meeting at Al Amarat at 5pm. Once the team gathers, we leave by 5.30pm and head towards Qurayyat and onto the long road to Umq Bir Village for an overnight camp. Enjoy a BBQ dinner and get an early night before the big adventure tomorrow.
Rise and Shine! Get ready and grab yourself some breakfast, the team will assist you in preparing for the canyon. Once you are geared up and have your helmet, harness and life jacket, we will be transferred to the canyon start point to begin this exciting adventure! Upon reaching the cars in Mibam, enjoy a hot meal and change into dry clothes and return to Muscat meeting point. Expected time to finish the canyon is between 13-16 hours depending on the pace of the group.
