Have you ever wanted to go outdoors and try rock climbing in Oman? This is finally the chance – CYR Adventures is now introducing weekend climbing sessions open to the public and individuals who are interested in experiencing and developing their outdoor climbing skills and getting more exposure to the sports. All the outdoor sessions are run by our Rock Climbing instructor who will be directly supervising the climbs and working with you to improve your technique and skills.

Please arrive by 7.00 AM for a 7.15 AM departure
Gather at the meeting point in Muscat at 10.30am. Please note that the meeting time/point will be different depending on the climbing location as these will change every week depending on the weather. The updates will be sent in the Whatsapp group for the participants.
Once we reach the location of the climb, prepare for a short hike to approach the crag. The climbers will be briefed and given safety instructions. At the crag, climbers will get the chance to top rope and try different routes. The rock climbing instructor will be on hand for the climbers to give feedback and tips for body positioning and footwork techniques.
Before the sun sets, the instructor will end the sessions and teach the climbers the safety points at the crag and how to pack. Hike back to the cars and return to Muscat.
